Cooperation
Employees of the department for many years actively cooperate with Ukrainian and foreign research institutions and universities, manufacturing companies and product and outsourcing IT companies.
Cooperation takes place in the following main areas:
- Scientific cooperation
- Cooperation in the training of highly qualified personnel in the field of information technology
- Cooperation with Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Scientific cooperation
Employees of the department is actively engaged in scientific work. During the existence of the department, lecturers and graduate students have participated in a number of applied scientific Ukrainian and foreign projects in accordance with the scientific directions developing at the department, constantly participate in international scientific conferences.
We are currently working with:
- Research and Production Association "Avia", Kremenchuk, mathematical modeling in the creation and certification of flight simulators; (Prof. Huchenko M.I., senior researcher).
- State Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Arms and Military Equipment of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (Chernihiv). Joint research work on identification of parameters of mathematical model of aerodynamics and dynamics of flight of the helicopter, participation in conferences, joint publications (Prof. Huchenko M.I.).
- Institute of Technology and Business (VSTE), Department of Informatics and Natural Sciences, České Budějovice, Czech Republic. Participation in conferences, joint publications (Prof. Huchenko M.I., Assistant Sokhin N.L., Assoc. Prof. Sydorenko V.M.).
- The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Technical University of Košice (FEI TU), Slovakia. Participation in conferences, joint publications (Assoc. Prof. Slavko O.H., Assoc. Prof. Mamchur D.H.).
- From the Computer and Management Engineering Department of the University of Monc (Belgium) and the Instituto Superior Dom Afonso III (Portugal) in the framework of joint training of masters and graduate students (Assoc. Prof. Sydorenko V.M.).
Employees of the department are members of the working group of the European project Erasmus+ on the development of a higher education potential "Digital Competence Framework for Ukrainian teachers and other citizens" - dComFra (2018-2021), 598236-EPP-1- 2018-1-LT-EPPKA2CBHE-SP, which is performed by KrNU together with the following European and Ukrainian universities: Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (Austria), Czech University of Life Sciences (Prague, Czech Republic), Pedagogical University of Cracow (Poland) , Vytautas Magnus University, (Kaunas, Lithuania), Politechnica of Bucharest University (Romania), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute», Donetsk National Technical University, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University (Prof. Huchenko M.I., Assoc. Prof. Sydorenko V.M., Assoc. Prof. Mamchur D.H., Assoc. Prof. Slavko O.H.).
Cooperation in the training of highly qualified personnel in the field of information technology
Within the framework of this type of cooperation the department develops its activity in following areas:
- Internships for lecturers and students in foreign universities within the framework of cooperation agreements.
- Part-time work of employees of the department in leading IT companies in the region.
- Work with leading IT companies in the region: organization of joint events, student internships, sponsorship.
Internships for lecturers and students at foreign universities in the framework of cooperation agreements
Within the framework of the academic exchange program, Professor of the Computer and Information Systems Department Huchenko M.I. completed an internship at the Institute of Technology and Business, Česke Budějovice, Czech Republic. The internship lasted three weeks (5-25 November, 2016) and took place on the basis of the Department of Informatics and Natural Sciences.
Student Gladir A.A. in 2017 has completed an internship on the Globalink Research Internship program at McGill University (Canada) with the support of the non-profit Canadian organization Mitacs and the Shevchenko Foundation. During the internship he worked on the development of a mobile application for cancer patients. Student Gladir A.A. also underwent short-term training (5 months, 30 credits) in academic mobility under the program of the Republic of Lithuania at Alytaus Kolegija / University of Applied Sciences (Alytus, Lithuania).
Within the framework of the project on the development of a higher education potential "Digital competence framework for Ukrainian teachers and other citizens - dComFra", 598236-EPP-1-2018-1-LT-EPPKA2CBHESP.
The project is designed for three years. Pproject participants from the CIS department are Prof. Huchenko M.I., Assoc. Prof. Sydorenko V.M. Within the project for the period from October 2018 to September 2019, a number of foreign business trips were made to participate in trainings:
- training at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania, February 17-22, 2019 (Assoc. Prof. V.M. Sydorenko);
- training at Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny im. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej, Krakow, Poland, March 17-22, 2019 (Prof. Huchenko M.I., Assoc. Prof. Sydorenko V.M., Assoc. Prof. Mamchur D.H.);
- training at the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic, 08-11.04.2019 (Assoc. Prof. Sydorenko V.M., Assoc. Prof. Mamchur D.H.);
- training at Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, Carinthia, Austria, 08-12.07.2019 (Prof. Huchenko M.I., Assoc. Prof. Mamchur D.H.);
- training at the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania, 09-14.09.2019 (Prof. Huchenko M.I., Assoc. Prof. Sydorenko V.M., Assoc. Prof. Mamchur D.H.).
Part-time work of employees of the department in leading IT companies in the region
Many of lecturers of the department work part-time at leading IT companies, a number of which are partners of the department, in particular: Beetroot, Beetroot Academy, Computer Academy "SHAG", RiverLab laboratory on the basis of the office IT company RiverSoft and on the basis of CIS department, ROMAD startup, product company GridinSoft.
Cooperation with Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
The department cooperates with Poltava and Sumy territorial branches of Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In particular, in the framework of cooperation with the Poltava Territorial Branch of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, following activities took place:
- Member of the jury of the competition-defense of research works of students-members of Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the "Computer Science" on the basis of National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic» (2018, 2019, 2020, Assoc. Prof. Slavko O.H.).
- Consulting of research work of students-members of Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the "Technical Sciences" on the basis of National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic» (2020); prize-winning place at the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition: II place (2020) (Assoc. Prof. Slavko O.H.).
Within the framework of cooperation with the Sumy Territorial Branch of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the following activities took place:
- Consulting of research work of students-members of Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in "General Biology" and "Valeology"; I places at the regional competition (2013, 2016, 2017, 2019), Zhuzhoma Regional Boarding School; prizes at the All-Ukrainian competition: III place (2012), II place (2020), (Assoc. Prof. Sydorenko V.M.).
- Consulting of research work of students-members of Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in "Valeology", (2020-2021 academic year), (Assoc. Prof. Sydorenko V.M.).
